That’s what I thought, but so many take themselves out slamming into a car that was disabled 5 mins before. Not to men tion at risk of serio us injury.

Apparently it’s whoever finishes a predete rm ined number of laps first. Most of the violent wrecks in the videos must be after the checkered f lag drops and they just want to finish their cars off?

I got in to watching banger racing a few months ago. Those are some crazy ass people. I think it's part race and part demo derby from what I read somewhere. It's amazing how crumpled up those cars and cans and other things end up.

Gist of it is you have two competitions in one event; a race and something based more off damage points. You choose one and honor the existence of the other as a friendly.

Remember being a kid and playing with matchbox cars with your friends? Just crashing them into each other all the time? This is what happens when those kids never actually grow up.
I’m not saying that's a bad thing. This is stupidly entertaining to watch. But I wouldn't ever do it!

The crash at 1:24 looked particularly nasty.
Also, I’m not very fond of crushing all those older cars.

That’s one of the few crashes where the driver w as already out of the stopped car. There’s so many oth er violent one s where the drivers are still sitting inside though. And m ost appear to have no cage, or just door bars.

one of the rabbit holes that i found were the klaperjaht offroad races..... guys are ridiculous, and so are the trucks.....
